Inspired by Rothko - Held in Colour

How do you paint an emotion?

This series was inspired by Rothko’s ability to communicate profound human feeling through colour alone.

Beneath the apparent simplicity of his work is an extraordinary emotional intensity - colour that seems to vibrate, glow, and speak without words.

Rather than recreate his work, I wanted to explore that same question for myself: can colour reconnect us to feelings we have forgotten how to express?
