Narcissus

In Greek mythology, Narcissus was a handsome hunter who scorned all admirers. whilst drinking from a pool, he saw his reflection and fell in love with it. Incapable of tearing himself away, he pined away and died.
In my version, a female Narcissus is in awe of her barely visible reflection, overwhelmed by the the wonder of her existence in this incredible universe.
Her reflection is barely glimpsed. Her beauty though evident, is irrelevant in this moment.
She is innocent, transfixed by the wonder of life.
